We would love you to join us for Essence Of Being at Piccadilly Pavilions, Broken Head— a unique resort like haven, surrounded by beach and bush — where your body will sigh and soften, from the moment you walk through the front door.

This is going to be a beautiful, deeply nourishing and intimate retreat experience as we transition from summer into the slower season of Autumn. You will be invited to, return to (and explore the art of) Being, while reconnecting, remembering and renewing your Self – body, heart, mind and soul. 

We will explore how to live a more gentle (and aligned) life, in a busy world, remember ways of being (that feel good to the soul), reconnect (to your breath, body and being) and, restore and renew yourself– physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically.

We will also enjoy walks in nature, dips in the ocean, gentle grounding morning movement, afternoon slow down sessions, soothing breath practices, delicious and lovingly made meals, rests by the pool, fireside chats, an excursion into the hinterland for a special sunset rest experience, journaling, a fun celebratory last night dinner and of course, time (and space) to simply be.

We are thrilled to have the talented Tash and Tom from Burburys as our retreat chefs, who will be nourishing us each day, with delicious and nutritious wholefood meals.

Burburys are renowned for their thoughtful, high-quality, locally-sourced, seasonal, and flavourful foods. Inspired by Mediterranean and Ayurvedic cuisine, while celebrating the bounty of the Australian local ingredients from the region, your body will feel replenished and rejuvenated.

Rashi Cottrell

Rashi is a dedicated yoga and mindfulness teacher based on the Sunshine Coast. Her journey began during a challenging time in her life when she was widowed, remarried, and raising six children. Faced with the weight of unresolved pain, she turned to yoga and mindfulness as tools for healing.

Through breathwork, movement, and mindful practices, Rashi reconnected with her body, calmed her mind, and found peace. These practices not only transformed her own life but also enriched her relationships in profound ways. Rashi has been a pharmacist for 33 years and still practices as she feels she can make a difference. 

Her gift is bringing spirituality and science together with Eastern and Western modalities and making it relevant in today’s life.

Georgia Rhodes

Georgia is a teacher of gentle and restorative yoga, mindfulness, and breath foundations, a holistic lifestyle mentor, reiki practitioner, wellness doula and owner of Nest Studio, in the Byron Bay hinterland.

Former equestrian, triathlete and busy-badge-wearer, recovering people pleaser, mother, business owner, keen hiker and runner, Georgia is well versed in the juggle of life, burnout, unexpected health challenges and learning the art of slowing down.

With both her lived experiences and being in the wellness field for 20+ years, Georgia shares simple, gentle, nourishing and sustainable ways to help you slow down, support your nervous system and live more gently (in this busy world).


And together…

with 35+ teaching years between us and both being mothers, as well as running our own businesses, we bring a wealth of experience and understanding to the very real juggle of life and finding time for you. 

We cannot wait to share this sacred time with you, gently guiding you through a transformative journey of rest, reconnection, renewal and being.
